Troy was leading the event with a 2.42 bass caught while fishing the 2011 season opener for the San Jose Bass-N-Tubes club on Lake Nacimiento in California, USA. This was Troy's first win while fishing with the San Jose Bass-N-Tubes club. Troy was dragging a carolina rigged 5 1/2 inch textured curly tail robo worm in prizm shad color in 28 ft. of water..on 8 lb. floro..fishing out of his water skeeter kick boat.  Troy won the Bass-N-Tubes event while fishing with 17 other hard core kick boaters under harsh weather conditions.  Troy's winning two day limit of 10 keeper bass was 15.73 Congratulations Troy on catching a big bass and starting off the CatchemCaro World Wide Big Bass contest.         Shawn Henderson was the second leader of the C & C Global Big Bass Challenge with a 3.24 bass caught while fishing with the Sonoma County Belly Boat Bass club at there season opener on Lake Berryessa in California, USA. The day started very cold in the high 20's as 43 of the SCBBBC anglers blasted off at 6 AM.  Only two limits came to the scales and Shawn's 3.24 was the largest fish caught all day. Shawn caught his fish while using a wacky rigged Sinko. Shawn fish's from a Bucksbag kick boat and cashed in for $160.00. Not bad for a day of fishing. Stay tuned as we update this Bib Bass page. Stay tuned.

The leader board had changed once again with Kobus De Winnaar from the South African KBBC club. The KickBoat Bass Challenge club, AKA, The KBBC Club. Kobus took a big jump to the front with a 4.40 pound large mouth bass caught on a Sinko. This fish clearly puts South Africa and Kobus on the map. This event was held on Boskop Dam and is the leg # 1 of the KBBC tour of South Africa. 22 anglers kicked off there season during a warm sunny day. Kobas fishs from a Explorer Kick Boat, model XPT1. Kobus had also taken 1st place at the event with a limit of 5 fish for 12.87 pounds or 5.84kg.  The CatchemCaro Global Big Bass Challenge is well under way as this leader board keeps on changing from one club to another.  Congrats Kobus on a job well done.

The leader board had changed once again , but this time it changed big time!! You heard it right, BIG TIME! With a member from the Sonoma County Belly Boat Bass Club fishing on Clear Lake in sunny California under extreme winter weather conditions. Big Dave not only takes over the Global Big Bass Challenge but he also wins the second stop of the SCBBBC 2011 tour. Dave's big fish was a whopping 10.70 and if that wasn't big enough, he followed it up with an 8.74 pig. His 4 fish limit was 27.05 and I'm sure that's a new SCBBBC club 4 fish limit record.

Dave caught his 10 pounder on I think a Iwamoto jig. His other toads came on a spinner bait.  I'm not sure, but I think Dave might have been using a Dobyns rod too. He fish's from a Bucksbags Bronco Extreme. Dave fished with 29 of the worlds best at an event that almost was canceled at the last minute do to the weather. All the other tournament organizations canceled that day, but the Sonoma County Belly Boat Bass Club did what they've been doing for 27 years. Extreme and hardcore float tubing!!
I think it's safe to say that the leader board won't need any editing for a while. Congrats Big Dave on the worlds largest bass of any float tube / kick boat club event so fare this 2011 season.

Big Dave and his 10 pounder are now holding tight to 2nd place of the  CatchemCaro Big Bass contest.

The leader board had changed once again thanks to the smallest bait used by most club members, the "Drop Shot" of all things. Mike Ayers from the SSCBBBC  takes the lead while fishing with the Sanjo Bass-N-Tubes club. The event was on the Cal Delta at a location called White Slough.
19 anglers  went at it and Mike won the event with a limit weighing 25.10 and breaking a new B-N-T 5 fish limit record. And now Mike leads the CatchemCaros World Wide Big Bass contest.

The big girl eat a drop shot rig as Mike navigated his Bucksbag Bronco Extreme. Mike is also one of the members on the CatchemCaro Prostaff. Congrats Mike on taking over  the leaders board. Just when we all thought Big Dave had it nailed down, Mike came from behind and BINGO!!!

There's still a lot of chances for a bigger fish to come to the scales. So stay tuned as we all watch the out come of the clubs from around the globe.
